Cyclonaire SandMaster is a self-contained, single-position sanding station designed to deliver clean, efficient traction sand directly to locomotive sandboxes. With a compact footprint, large storage capacity, and pneumatic conveying, SandMaster helps rail operations keep sand flowing with less manual handling and improved servicing efficiency.
The system includes a Cyclonaire dense phase pneumatic conveyor and has enough storage capacity to receive a full transport load of sand, typically 25 tons. Sand can be delivered through a single wand or an optional dual-wand configuration, allowing crews to service both fore and aft boxes without moving the unit.
Convey lines can be extended to remote points, helping eliminate the need to spot locomotive sandboxes directly beside the unit. Automatic shutoff helps ensure filling accuracy and prevent spills, making SandMaster a practical solution for reliable, controlled rail sanding operations.
